How Our Funds Are Used
How Our Funds Are Used
NeuroUmbrella exists to support autistic children, their families, and the communities around them. We're not here to generate profit — we’re here to make a difference.
Here’s exactly how your purchase helps:
1. Developing Accessible Tools
We use proceeds to design and distribute downloadable visual supports, routine charts, sensory tools, social stories, and educational resources — many of which we offer completely free to the public.
2. Expanding Free Access
Your support allows us to give away free resources on our website and keep our digital games, videos, and forum accessible to families regardless of income or location.
3. Supporting Autism Organizations and Projects
At the end of each year, we donate the remainder of all proceeds (after covering operational costs and fair wages) to support autism-focused efforts such as:
-
Local family support programs
-
Inclusive classrooms and sensory-friendly libraries
-
Grassroots autism initiatives and therapeutic tool drives
-
Reputable nonprofits like The Autism Alliance of Michigan, The Arc, or smaller parent-led initiatives
4. Building Community Spaces
We maintain a free peer-to-peer forum and learning hub where families can connect, learn, and grow together — without ads, distractions, or noise.
Year-End Transparency
At the close of each year, we publish a simple report showing where our donations went, how we gave back, and what your support helped build.
We're here to create real, lasting impact — and you're a part of that.
